Swing Night At the Waverley is a swing dance event in the Comox Valley.
Come join us at the Waverley Hotel in Cumberland, BC, for our weekly by-donation Tuesday dance!
6:00 pm - Come early and enjoy food and beverages!This helps both us and the Waverley run things smoother, everyone arriving at 7pm really gums up Waverley’s dinner service time and delays our lesson start time.
7:00 pm - Newcomer Introductory swing dance lessonA little something to get you moving and grooving, no partner or experience required!
7:30 pm - Social dancingDJ'd music, playing a variety of jazz suited for Lindy Hop, Charleston, Blues, and Solo JazzWe may also do line dances such as: the Shim Sham & Jitterbug Stroll.Dress how you like, comfort is key (flats recommended)

Please also bring a donation to support dance class teachers and DJs! ($5 min. suggested)
Attendees are not required to wear masks, but if your personal COVID safety protocols include wearing a mask, we welcome and support you.
